Rush, hurry, run, or you will be late! The sun is at high, the ticking is louder. Half a day gone, and nothing done! Rush, hurry, run, or you will be late! Your mussels are tied up in a knot, still you are behind. Rush, hurry, run, or you will be late! The ticking is so loud it drowns out all other sounds. Rush, hurry, run, or you will be late! The day is done, with nothing to show for it! Rush, hurry, run, you are late! The ticking stops....... All is quiet, you have rest at last. You enjoy your ride, in peace and quiet. You always wanted peace and quiet. The morgue is a very quiet place.... K J K 9/5/93 Alice The computer beeped the news to me, this day. Much like you, the news traveled in strange ways. Dance it did, much like yours at the night of the day. Last two we were, of the us, at the place known. Now I am last. You are - Joined. Physically, mentally, and spiritually. These stars must of made it be, stars shining above the valley where the sun never sets. In a way they, too, brought the news to me, Alice. Some man made star, some troubadour of now, sent the signal to me. A toast, across the ocean of world that lays between us... Love (Which you have found.) Luck (Which you MUST have.) Happiness (Which is the sum of the two!) K J K 09-19-93 A. (K). G. The Edge Of Knowledge Now is the time for all that we say. For all those things, like tunes we would play. As we danced, naked, under the moon. To reach this land that held our hearts in a spoon. We wondered about all these glorious things. And how it was she could lose her wings. Gathered around the flickering fire. It was this, our words, that would conspire. Against this unknown darkness and fear. We wished, we wished, we could hold her and finish off our beer.
